The heterogeneity of patients' age and activity level, coupled with various parameters such as injury mechanism, intention, and number of episodes, contributes to the complexity of its management. There is a lack of consensus on the optimal approach to manage traumatic anterior shoulder instability (TASI), particularly considering age and timing of injury. This consensus aims to guide clinicians in making reasoned clinical decisions regarding the diagnosis and treatment of TASI based on age and timing of injury.
