Total knee replacement after failed tibial plateau fixation

Description

Osteosynthesis failure is a well-known complication of tibial plateau fractures, especially in elderly patients. The debate between single-stage versus two-stage repair is still a hot topic due to each approach's many pros and cons. This case series aims to present our experience with single-stage total knee replacement (TKR) as a revision procedure following failed tibial plateau osteosynthesis. We seek to evaluate the clinical outcomes and complications associated with this approach.
