Autograft transplantation to treat osteochondral lesions of the talus

Description

Osteochondral lesions of the talus are a challenging orthopedic condition characterized by disruption of articular cartilage and subchondral bone in the ankle joint. Treatment can range from non-operative management to arthroscopy with debridement and marrow stimulation as well as chondroplasty and osteochondral autograft/allograft transplantation (OAT); the extent of the treatment depends on the patient's symptoms and the size of the lesion.

The aim of our E-poster is to provide a comprehensive overview of these lesions and their treatment, in accordance with the most up-to-date medical guidelines as well as report our experiences and outcomes of treating a cohort of patients with osteochondral lesions of the talus.
