Remplissage decreases the redislocation ratio after a Bankart repair.

Description

This e-poster presents our study titled "REMPLISSAGE DECREASES THE RECURRENCE OF INSTABILITY AFTER AN ARTHROSCOPIC BANKART REPAIR IN PATIENTS WITH ENGAGING HILL-SACHS DEFECT. A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS OF STUDIES WITH MINIMAL 2 YEARS FOLLOW-UP". Our study demonstrates that remplissage results in a ninefold decrease in the recurrence of instability following an arthroscopic Bankart repair in patients with an engaging Hill-Sachs lesion. Not only does it lead to an increase in forward flexion, but it also only slightly limits external rotation in adduction. WOSI and Rowe scores after remplissage at the final 24-month follow-up are comparable to those obtained after isolated Bankart repair.
