CAPSULE RECONSTRUCTION IN SYMPTOMATIC IATROGENIC HIP INSTABILITY

Description

During hip arthroscopy, capsulotomy facilitates better visualization and instrument maneuverability. However, failure to close the capsule can induce hip joint instability. This paper presents a simplified technique for capsular reconstruction using dermal allograft in patients experiencing pain and symptoms of instability. We also evaluate technique's advantages and disadvantages alongside technical pearls and pitfalls.
