Rectal Temperature Monitoring During Hip Arthroscopy

Description

Rectal measurement of core body temperature offers an earlier possibility to detect intraoperative hypothermia, a common phenomenon during hip arthroscopy. Usage of either room temperature or warmed irrigation fluids does not influence overall hypothermia rates.
