Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy in Adolescents and Patella Height Decrease

Description

Patella height (PH) decrease has been observed following surgery at the knee, including high tibial osteotomy (HTO). PH changes following TTO have not been well-described. The purpose of this study is to determine if medialization or anteromedialization (non-distalizating) TTO for patellar instability is associated with changes in PH and patellar tendon length in skeletally mature, adolescent patients.
