Prevalence and impact of kinesiophobia in adolescents and young adults

Description

Kinesiophobia might negatively impact patients with an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. This was the first study to longitudinally investigate the prevalence of high level kinesiophobia in adolescents and young adults undergoing ACL reconstruction. Furthermore, the impact of pre-operative kinesiophobia on the outcome 12 months after ACL reconstruction in this population is explored.
