Long-term follow-up of ACLR, hamstring graft vs. patellar tendon graft

Description

The aim of this prospective randomized multicenter study was to compare the results 18 to 20 years after the use of patellar tendon grafts and hamstring grafts for ACL reconstruction. Outcome variables were muscle strength, knee function and laxity, patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), and the grade of knee osteoarthritis (OA). Subsequent ACL revision surgery and total knee arthroplasty (TKA) were also evaluated.
