INCREASED RISK OF INJURY IN FEMALE SOCCER

Description

Recent years have highlighted that women may be subject to an increased risk of muscle-tendon and joint injuries during sports practice. Research has shown that several factors contribute to the risk of women injuring themselves in sports. The aim of the study is to highlight, beyond the aspects strictly related to differences in gender, the difference in background preparation that exists between the two sexes in sport.
