Good Clinical Results in Combined ACL Reconstruction and UKR

Description

Treating advanced osteoarthritis of the knee, isolated in a single compartment,  with concurrent Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) deficiency presents a  challenge for the orthopaedic surgeons. A knee with a deficient ACL is characterized by altered kinematics and puts at risk a prosthesis after an Unicompartmental Arthroplasty (UKR). We present the favorable outcomes after ACLR and UKR in our institution, either simultaneously or in a staged manner to address such cases.
