Biomimetic Osteochondral Scaffold for Complex Knee Lesions

Description

Biomimetic Osteochondral Scaffold for Complex Knee Lesions: Long Term ClinIcal Results and Comparative Evaluation with Chondral Scaffold

Chondral and osteochondral defects are challenging lesions to treat, particularly in complex cases with associated joint comorbidities. The primary aim of this study is to evaluate the results obtained in complex knee lesions with the implant of an osteochondral scaffold and concomitant treatment of all comorbidities at long-term follow-up. The secondary aim is to compare the long-term results of the osteochondral scaffold with those of a chondral scaffold in complex lesions.
